Privacy policy

AniSummary is designed so browsing, reading summaries, and finding where you stopped can work without an account. Account features are optional and private by default.

What we store

  • Anonymous progress stays in your browser unless you choose to merge it.
  • Account progress stores reading and viewing progress separately.
  • Coverage requests store only the minimum title, locale, and deduplication data.
  • Restricted source text, subtitles, transcripts, and private locators are not public.

Telemetry

Logs, analytics, and error monitoring must use the redacted observability layer. Raw summaries, personal progress identifiers, emails, tokens, cookies, and restricted source material are not telemetry fields.
