With Nami escaping aboard the Going Merry, Johnny and Yosaku pursue her while Luffy remains at Baratie with Sanji and the injured Zoro. Krieg's officer Pearl attacks the restaurant, claiming that his armor has made him invincible through hundreds of battles. Sanji counters with powerful kicks and repeatedly cracks Pearl's shields, but the fighter ignites his armor when he sees his own blood, threatening to burn Baratie. The cooks struggle to extinguish the flames as Sanji continues protecting the ship. Gin unexpectedly takes Zeff hostage and points a gun at him, forcing Sanji to stop resisting.
