Subaru visits Crusch, whose body is deteriorating under Capella’s blood. Touching her transfers part of the infection to his own arm and eases her pain, but Crusch stops him from taking more. Wilhelm identifies the resurrected warriors attacking Priestella: Kurgan, the Eight-Arms of Vollachia, and Theresia, his wife and the former Sword Saint. He explains that her Divine Protection transferred to Reinhard during the failed White Whale expedition, contributing to her death and the family’s lasting resentment. Priscilla and Liliana volunteer to face Sirius, using song to break Wrath’s emotional network.
