The Monster Association sends Gyoro-Gyoro and Destrochloridum to a Hero Association executive, pretending to propose peaceful coexistence. Destrochloridum takes control of the man’s body, kills him, and announces that the monsters will begin a full war against the heroes. Superalloy Darkshine destroys the parasite before it can seize another executive. At the Monster Association base, Orochi devours Awakened Cockroach for failure, while Gyoro-Gyoro gathers information about the deaths of Gouketsu and other monsters. The declaration encourages independent monsters to attack civilians. Saitama eliminates several of them but worries more about missing garbage collection. Garou wakes after Saitama’s kick and encounters Death Gatling. Injured, he retreats to a shed, where Tareo finds him. Garou tells the boy that becoming strong is the only reliable defense against bullying. Death Gatling then arrives with Stinger, Smile Man, Wildhorn, Chain Toad, Glasses, Gun Gun, and Shooter. The team surrounds Garou and coordinates ranged attacks to limit his movement. Already wounded and poisoned by an arrow, Garou studies their formation, avoids a finishing barrage, and begins targeting the heroes whose roles are essential to the group’s strategy.
