Death Gatling explains that his team wants to capture Garou without S-Class help to prove that lower-ranked heroes deserve recognition. Their coordinated assault presses the injured hero hunter, but Garou adapts to each weapon and defeats Chain Toad, Shooter, Gun Gun, and Wildhorn. Glasses remembers his time in Fubuki’s group, when he felt permanently inferior, and recalls Saitama telling him to focus on steady personal progress. He continues fighting despite exhaustion, but Garou overcomes him and Stinger. Garou warns Death Gatling that Tareo is hiding nearby, yet Death Gatling believes the warning is a trick and fires his Death Shower. Garou redirects the bullets with Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, protecting the child and defeating Death Gatling. Tareo sees the fallen heroes and runs away in fear. Meanwhile, Saitama repeatedly loses video games to King. An alert on King’s hero phone reports Genos’s location, and they leave to investigate. Genos confronts Garou and gains the advantage, but Garou refuses to surrender and declares his ambition to become the ultimate monster. Before Genos can finish the fight, Bang arrives and strikes his former student down. Bomb joins him, leaving Garou surrounded by three powerful opponents.
